Mustang Creek Ranch is located in Salado, Texas. We have been dedicated to improving whitetail genetics for more than 20 years, and we have worked extensively with Dr. James Kroll (a.k.a. “Dr. Deer”) for many years. Today, our herd is among the best in Texas.
We have built our genetics based on the history from both the doe and the buck. We started a strong artificial Insemination program and were one of the first of scientific breeders to commercially AI with White-tailed Deer. It has been over 12 years now and we continue to A.I. more than one hundred of our does a year with our proven genetics. In 2000 our scientific experiment worked, we produced Mustang James. At five this buck went 298 B&C and continues to sire exceptional sons and daughters.
