La Coma Ranch
La Coma Ranch, nestled deep in the South Texas Brush, is home to some of our state's finest exotic hunting. The ranch was stocked 25 years ago and has over 20 different exotic species as well as native birds, whitetail deer, javelina and bobcats. We have a hunter's Lodge that will accomodate 6 hunters, is fully furnished, has air conditioning and heated for winter. This comfortable lodge has a covered Bar-B-Q area and is available for a reasonable daily rate.
All hunts are fully guided as we have several species of animals that are endangered or protected, such as Bontibok, Red Lechwe, Barasingha and Guar. Guided hunts also increase your chances to harvest a mature, quality trophy. All hunts are strictly fair chase on our 2300+ acre ranch. Hunting Licenses may be purchased directly through the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department or through a local Sporting goods store. Non-resident exotic hunters are required to purchase a non-resident hunting license or a 5 day non-resident special hunting license. Commercial airline service is available just down the road in McAllen, TX. Also, private planes may land at the Edinburg International Airport located only 3 miles from the ranch. transportation of hunt parties to and from the airports can be arranged.
