• Venison liver, cleaned, cut in 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Mrs. Dash seasoning
  • 1 or more large, sweet onions
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter

    Heat oil in high-sided skillet. Add butter and melt. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and Mrs. Dash and place in a shallow dish. Roll liver slices in a mixture. Fry the liver slices until brown on both sides then remove to a warming plate. You may have to do the slices in several batches, adding a little more butter or oil if necessary. Add the onions; cook and stir until they are tender. Return the liver to the skillet and heat through before serving.
