MEATBALLS:

  • 1 lb. ground wild pork
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

    DIPPING SAUCE:
     
  • 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. honey or firmly packed brown sugar
  • Dash of liquid hot pepper seasoning
  • 2 tsp. toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped

    Mix ingredients of dipping sauce and set aside. In a bowl combine the ground pork, soy sauce, pepper, garlic, green onion, and sesame seeds. Shape the meat into 1 inch balls. Dredge each in flour, and then dip into egg mixture, and again into flour. Heat the oil in a heavy skillet. Add meat balls to oil and cook at medium heat until done. Serve with dipping sauce.
