  • 3/4 c. peanut oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Mix the oil with the seasonings. Rub the birds with this mixture or marinade for an hour or more for stronger flavor.  Place birds on hot grill.  Grill birds for 5 minutes and flip.  Continue flipping every 5 minutes until fully cooked.  While grilling baste with the remaining oil mixture.  Remove birds from grill and sprinkle with lemon juice.  Note: Only baste birds with fresh marinade; never use marinade that has had raw meat in it.
