Pork Chops and Gravy PDF Print E-mail

 

  • 6 pork chops
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 4 c. oil
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 3 c. water

    Combine flour, salt and pepper and place is shallow dish. Preheat oil in skillet on medium heat. Dip each pork chop in water and then in flour mixture, covering well. Place pork chops in oil until golden brown. Retain 1/4 cup of oil in skillet and remove the rest. Add onions, pork chops and water to skillet and simmer until a thick gravy forms.
