Ham Hock Soup PDF Print E-mail

 

  • 4-5 medium ham hock bones
  • 4 quarts water
  • 1 c. corn
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 4 c. mixed vegetables
  • 2 cans (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. butter

    Place bones in water and cook for 2 hours, partially covered on medium heat.
    Add corn, salt, mixed vegetables, tomato paste, pepper and butter. Cook 45
    minutes longer on medium heat, partially covered. Remove bones and serve.
