Los Patos has been the standard for Texas waterfowl outfitters for 35 years.  We are known for an honest, tell it like it is, approach to hunting success and forecasting what you can expect on your hunt.  Our hunter success ratio is unsurpassed by any guide service on the Texas Gulf Coast.  Our success is based on having thousands of acres of prime marsh and cropland, by holding rest areas for the waterfowl and providing large commercial marshbuggies, airboats and other types of equipment to get the hunters into the deep marsh.  Our hunting guides are all experienced guides with many years of experience, they love the sport and put safety and hunter fun and success as number one priority.  We never mix groups of hunters together, so you never have to worry about hunting with someone you don't know.
         
We offer two types of hunts, a guided or unguided day hunt.  If you need lodging, we offer some nice beach houses, or there are motels in our area if you prefer to use them.  There are plenty of nice restaurants and Galveston Island is only 20 miles away which offers excellent places to dine or sightsee.

For evening activities, we have a skeet and rifle range, or in season dove or snipe hunts are available.  Bay fishing trips are also an option.  All of our Fishing guides are Coast Guard licensed captains.  We specialize in hardware fishing.  Jim West fishes out of a 26ft. center console boat rigged with GPS, VHF and fishes daily, weather permitting.  He has caught trophy trout in December.
