The ranch is high-fenced and has an over-abundance of high quality deer, creating an exceptional opportunity for success. The terrain is rolling hills covered mostly with live oak and post oak trees. Year-round supplemental feeding of deer pellets, food plots, and a breeding operation are part of the intense deer management on this ranch. Hunting is done from comfortable weather-proof stands overlooking corn feeders. Hunts include comfortable accommodations, meals, field dressing, caping, guide, and transportation on the ranch. A Texas hunting license is required. Local meat processing and taxidermy is available. These are one-on-one guided rifle hunts and we allow only two hunters at a time. The ranch is 250 acres, but due to the terrain and cover it hunts more like 1000 acres. You will enjoy a very personalized service – no other hunters to deal with – no feeling of a revolving door where the next group of hunters is arriving just as you are leaving – no hotel type atmosphere. Hunters stay with the owner of the ranch at the four bedroom ranch house. The owner and the ranch manager do the guiding, cooking, etc.. They will personally make every effort to ensure the success of your hunt. The hunting season runs from the first weekend of November to the first week-end of January. Based on our strict Management program, we sell only a limited number of hunts. We do week-end hunts only to ensure that all areas are rested prior to each hunt – arrive at ranch Friday night, hunt all day Saturday and Sunday, and depart Sunday night.
