The Garwood Hunting Club, LLC is a first class waterfowl outfitter and lodge offering guided duck, goose and sandhill crane hunts in Colorado, Wharton & Lavaca Counties which are recognized as the rice belt of Texas. This is where the largest number of wild geese in the country roosts for the winter months. We have 6,000 acres of prime cropland under lease, with over 3,000 acres in rice. We also have two Ducks Unlimited projects under lease. Our lodge sleeps 24 people, has a regulation size pool table, foosball table, cable television, best of all two great cooks. Oh and you can't forget the fire pit for evening shooting the breeze sessions. There's even a world class sporting clays range ten minutes away. If you hunt with us you'll be back, it's that good.
