Cypress Valley Preserve is one of the most complete shotgunning establishments in Texas. A private hunting club for the enjoyment of members, their families and guests, Cypress Valley sits on wooded land north of Austin, convenient enough to allow a trip out for a hunt in the afternoon after a half day of work! The property offers a beautiful setting for a rewarding shooting experience.  The preserve is aesthetically pleasing and professionally managed. Sporting Clays is America's fastest growing shotgun sport and Cypress Valley has one of the finest sporting clay courses in the nation. The course has the flexibility of being changed easily and often so that they hunter can practice "instinct shooting" rather than learning specific shots. Sporting Clays and "Five Stand" are available for competition, practice, a warm-up prior to going into the fields for birds or just for fun.


Cypress Valley Preserve is located on US 183, 6.4 miles north of Seward Junction, which is at the intersection of US 183 and Texas 29, approximately 25 miles north of Austin and 15 miles west of IH-35.  The entrance is on the west side of the road.
