The Double D Ranches consist of 20,000 acres of privately owned land located in Menard and Sutton Counties.  Two ranches in Menard and two ranches in Sonora offer a variety of country and terrain.  The country in Menard County varies from the San Saba River to rolling hills covered with live oak, shine oak, cactus, mesquite and cedar while the ranches in Sutton County offer dry creek bottoms full of large oak and pecan trees, mesquite flats, rolling hills covered with live oak and cedar, and rough caprock hills.

Our ranches are working cattle ranches as well as being intensely managed for Trophy Whitetail Deer and Rio Grande Turkeys.  In addition, we offer hunts for Axis and Fallow Deer, Varmints, Bob White Quail, and Dove.  The Double D Ranches implement a strict management program to provide our hunters with the opportunities to harvest trophy class bucks year after year.  The use of year around protein feeding, food plots, proper livestock management and selective harvesting of deer all play a key role in producing trophy antlers.
