Melodee Music is proud to announce the release the second edition of the Woods and Water Collection of Custom guitars. This model honors the Rocky Mountain Elk.
This Limited Edition Guitar is handmade in the Custom Shop at America’s preeminent guitar builder, C.F. Martin & Co of Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Combining the best materials and legendary construction this is a worthy tribute to the noble Rocky Mountain Elk.
The Custom HD Rocky Mountain Elk features Martin’s classic dreadnaught body design with solid Indian rosewood back and sides. The solid Sitka spruce top features herringbone trim and scalloped bracing. The long scale (25.4”) mahogany neck features Martin’s low profile shape. The ebony fingerboard ishighlighted by a Mother of Pearl bugling bull elk at the twelfth fret and elk track position markers. The headstock features a wood marquetry bull elk inlay. All inlays were designed and executed by Tracy Cox from Inlay Design Studio. The guitar comes with a hardshell case and Martin’s Lifetime Warranty. This instrument is the latest design combining our love of fine musical instruments and the great outdoors.
